Job offer description:City: NairobiCountry: KENYA Responsabilities:Develop new applications: a) Assist to gather user requirements for development of applications; b) Analyze and refine general system requirements, establish system inputs and expected outputs and conceptualized system design.Competencies:Planning and Organizing: Develops clear goals that are consistent with agreed strategies; Identifies priority activities and assignments; Adjusts priorities as required; Foresees risks and allows for contingencies when planning. |
Qualifications:Education:Completion of secondary education is required; additional technical training in Computer Science, Information Technology is required.Experience:Minimum of six years of relevant and progressively responsible experience in information technology field. Knowledge of Notes programming languages and well developed prgoramming skills.LanguagesEnglish and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the post advertised, fluency in oral and written English is required. Knowledge of a second official UN language is an advantage.Others:In-depth IT knowledge of latest standards for development and ability to implement systems in PHP, Lotus Notes, XML, DHTML, JavaScript, Perl, Java, etc. |
