Job offer description: City: Nairobi Country: KENYA Responsabilities: Analyze and report on Division Directors' use of the authorities that have been delegated to them, particularly with respect to their compliance with established rules and regulations as well as their efficient and effective use of such authorities. Competencies: Professionalism: Proven knowledge of concepts of managerial accountability and delegation of authority including monitoring the use of delegated authority.

Qualifications: Education: Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) preferably in business or public administration, accounting, operational research, statistics, information technology or related field. Experience: A minimum of five years of professional experience in areas of programme/project management and/or financial management. Experience in analysis of organizational performance and managerial accountability is required. Languages: English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the advertised post, fluency in oral and written English is required; working knowledge of French is desirable. Knowledge of other United Nations languages is an asset. Others: Excellent computer skills in MS-Office suite are required.
