Job offer description:City: KingstonCountry: JAMAICA Responsabilities:Programme Assistance: Assist Programme Officer in timely preparation and monitoring of project proposals/documents, Memoranda of Understanding; draft TOR for consultants; Assist in promoting Specially Protected Areas for Wildlife (SPAW).Competencies:Professionalism: Familiarity with the functions and organization of the work unit, and of the organizational structure and respective roles of Branches and related units of the Division. |
Qualifications:Education:Completion of secondary school is required. Supplementary training in Secretarial, administration and office management is desirable.Experience:Minimum of five years of progressive work experience in secretarial, administration and office mangement and experience in an international organization is required.LanguagesEnglish and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the post advertised, fluency in oral and written English, Spanish and French is essential. Working knowledge of other United Nations languages an advantage.Others:Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, internet) are required. |
