Responsabilities:

To assume overall responsibility for the exchange of scientific information about medicines safety and safety related regulatory decisions made by national medicines regulatory authorities.

Competencies:

Good overall knowledge of clinical medicine and pharmacovigilance, strengthened with practical experience, sound drafting and editorial ability.

Qualifications:

Education:

Medical degree (MD) with post graduate specialist training (license to practice medicine in any area of clinical medicine).

Experience:

At least 10 years of medical practice or practical experience working with pharmacovigilance (including industry). At least 5 years of regulatory experience in a stringent regulatory authority in ICH or ICH associated countries.

Languages

Excellent knowledge of English and a good working knowledge of French. Knowledge of another UN language would be an asset.

Others:

A written test may be used for screening purposes.
