Responsabilities:

The Librarian is a working supervisor, providing guidance on acquisitions, licensing, invoice processing, receiving materials and serials check-in, as well as cataloguing.

Competencies:

Thorough knowledge of library operations, including cataloguing; understanding of the interrelationship between the library system and the organization's multiple operations; proven ability to provide technical leadership to a team of library staff.

Qualifications:

Education:

University (or equivalent) degree in library or information science.

Experience:

At least 5 years of experience in information services with increasing responsibilities. Experience in a multicultural environment desirable. Demonstrated professional experience in information processing.

Languages

Fluency in written and spoken English is essential; working knowledge of German would be an advantage.
