Responsabilities:

Provide in-depth analysis and propose pro-active solutions regarding regular budget expenditures, notably: review and reconcile actual expenditure, and recommend corrections on a range of budget items.

Competencies:

Knowledge of budgeting, financial monitoring and reporting are essential. Knowledge of safeguards procedures is an asset. Proficiency in relevant computer applications is essential, including preparation of financial and statistical reports.

Qualifications:

Education:

First university degree in finance, mathematics and/or statistics.

Experience:

At least 2 years of working experience in the areas of finance, budget, and programme planning, monitoring, evaluation and reporting.

Languages

Fluency in written and spoken English; knowledge of other IAEA official languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish) a distinct advantage.
